Hi Guys,
I need some info on this modem. Airtel user, others who are using/or have used this modem, please provide me answers to Qs below

Welcome to Beetel Modems

1. As i see from website, its USB powered. I need such a type of modem for my work (with laptop - no disconnects during powercut)
ie, should NOT be powered from mains

2. Is it available anywhere in market, or only thro Airtel BB
3. Does it support BSNL dataone / bridged mode connections using dialer..
4. Does it have Vista drivers/ compatible with Vista

Thanks in advance :)

Most probably you've already got what info you needed, but anyways, I've been using this modem for a long time.

1. Yes it is usb powered and doesnt require any external power source.

2. It would NOT be available anywhere now, earlier only airtel could get you one. Now airtel doesnt support his modem anymore, there just pushing the Routers.

3. Yes it can use your bsnl connection.

4. No its drivers support ONLY upto Windows XP 32 Bit, if your planning to use, anything above that, dont get this modem. I had to finally shift to a Beetel 220bx since i shifted to Vista 64.

Hope this might help some body.
