Storage Solutions Information about Hard Disk casing?

I have a spare 80 GB Sata Can a SATA 3.5 inch HDD be used in this zippy enclosure and is the price with power adapter etc. Hows your experience with this,

get a Zippy 3.5 Inch Casing ..supports both Pata & sata

Sorry for bumping up a very old thread, but i have a problem.

I bought a3.5" Zippys casing (IDE) to connect my 4/5-year old 40gb HDD which wasnt booting up.

i conencted it all, blue LED glows, but when it is connected to the CPU, i get a normal USB beep, pause, 2 USB beeps.

The HDD is not detected. What do i do

^it spins and all, i guess there was a problem with the boot sector.
