Really I don't understand what is so bad about receiving an infraction.. Is it gonna affect you or your life anyway...?? I guess not..! (If it really does, you need to spend more time offline.. there's a real world out there :P ). So why make such a big deal about it. Consider that you were given a tap on the head for making a small mistake.. Accept it gracefully and proceed.
 
Even i got an infraction from crazy eddy..:(

Instead of giving infractions the mods could hav just PM'ed me and said, "Hey suddenly our sense of humour has gone from 100% to 0%, and i take all your wannabe humorous posts as an insult." :@

I was thinking of making a thread but then thought it was a one off case..

And tell me, in the last few weeks is there a sudden onslaught of minors on TE? Or did some mod make a post in the mods forum saying "Hey i found a new feature in VBulletin, check it out, you can now give infractions, lets test it on older members who are anyway addicted to TE.."

dude y r u quoting my name only:@ there r other members too who hv complained and as I said I dont mind getting infraction as long as the reason is genuine.For example crazy_eddy sir gave me an infraction of points for jst 3 days but darkstar gave me an infraction of 3 points for 3 months thats completely unfair.

I am not against infraction but it shd be given sensibly.And seeing that infraction in my user cp irritated me alot as I spend most of my time on TE only.

And dude I am already a member of TBHP and I know abt their rules:P
 
in the expire tab of my infraction it says "reversed"

does that mean that my infraction ll not expire?????????

@Party Monger: Yup you're right, TE mods finally found the hidden feature. :bleh: As for testing it on older members, its not bcoz they're addicted to TE but bcoz they'll make better role models and we expect them to behave properly.

TE is probably the only forum on earth where you're allowed to rant about everything under the sun (mods included) but there is no point in making such a thread in public. I'm surprised that the mods have allowed it to survive for so long. In case you're unhappy about anything related to TE or its working, PM the mods anytime. They'll try their best to find a solution. Be reasonable.

Before I close this thread, let me redirect you to the TE Rules. I suggest you guys read it again and make sure that you don't end up on the wrong side ever. We do our best not to punish our members but don't expect us to issue warnings or ask for permission everytime. As in real life, you can't kill somebody, end up in jail and then say "oh I din't know this - you din't warn me before putting me in jail" :lol:
 
And PartyMonger mate, what you had posted would not be put down as good humor on any board that allows a general audience :lol:

Well hotlinking is one of the worst things you can do... What if the original source is changed by the poster(has happened before). It could become really embarrassing. Specially for the mods.

I will repeat never hotlink any image specially from a forum.
