no no wait:ashamed:, I didnt get infarcted , and this thread is not to b1tch about it :P

point is , I actually thing its a good idea, and that some of us users also wouldnt mind getting in on the action :D , like on pagalguy we have thanks and groans for posts :D

should help us find and report flames and spamming etc, kinda like report post, but with more bite!

of course folks given the privilege should use it very carefully, and mods should give them even worse punishment if they use it wrongly!

lolz whats is it with these reps ..\ -ve reps and infractions ..:P ..i usually dont even look at the reps and stuff ..doesnt really matter so much , in my opinion.

anyways it doesnt serve the purpose as i see members repping each other for the most silly and stupid reasons :P and some even asking for them:no:

coming to infractions , though i did not comment in the other thread..

but wanted to say that members shouldnt take a infraction as if they have been fined or jailed ..its just a formal warning sort of thing, and reminds one about the rules of the site.:P not really such a big issue.

.i think it wouldnt be a good idea to give such power to members..and if its given to few particular members , there needs to be some critera to decide. who gets the use the feature and who doesnt. that again might lead to some new members talking of discrimination.. etc.:no:

anyways i feel since the staff is doing the job pretty well :hap2:
,its not needed..will create more problems and controversial threads.
PS : the above are just my opinions ..nothing personal and no offenses to anyone.

If I say something, I'll just end up getting infracted again, so I'll just keep shut.
 
Let them just implement some frickin customs titles for senior members, neg rep powers are a distant dream.
 
@ keane, an infarction here is pretty much like a PM. its not like anyone knows about it. what difference is there , to anyone else.

its not like they have a red bar or a list of infarctions committed for all the world to see. It can get a lot worse elsewhere- you just have got too used to the freedom you have here
