Instagram , Netflick and Pinterest Knocked Down By Vicious Storm
Instagram , Netflix and Pinterest were knocked down yesterday by vicious storms in Northern Virginia and Washington, D.C .
These services including several other popular services are hosted by Amazon's Elastic Compute Cloud in Northern Virginia which succumbed to the storm yesterday .
These storms with winds ranging up to 90mph wiped out some of the unbearable heat , they also left thousands of homes without power .
Netflix technical support handle tweeted: ‘We’re aware that some members are experiencing issues streaming movies and TV shows. We’re working to resolve the problem.’
Instragram Support also noted: ‘We’re currently experiencing technical difficulties and we’re working to correct the issues. Thanks for your patience.’
As of Saturday morning, service to Netflix and Pinterest had been restored, but Instagram was still down.
