Popular image sharing social network Instagram has released an update for its iOS and Android apps which brings significant improvements and features .
The new updated app now lets users create photo maps by geo-tagging their images on the Google Maps layer . Users who view the pictures can see them over the map based on the geo-tag location . Users can opt-out also if they wish , removing individual pictures from the map or all at once .
