Install Windows 7 from USB/Portable HDD, on a DOS laptop with no Optical Disc Drive.

I bought a nettop recently that comes with no OS. They say, only DOS is installed.

I am planning to install Windows 7 32 bit on it but not sure how to do it since the machine comes without any optical disc drive. And I am not sure if I'll be able to format the DOS partition, if I start the setup from the attached USB Hard Disk (containing the Windows 7 installer).

Any pointers / perspectives ?

O Ok ! I got that. But will I be able to format my laptop HDD using that ?

^ yes, Windows 7 setup will automatically recognize the HD and allow you the option to create partitions and format them

Try Novicorp WinToFlash 0.4.0013 beta to create a bootable Win7 flash drive.. Its really easy..
