Install WinXP Over Toshiba Satellite L300

Hi all,

I'm just new to this forum and its nice to see alot of posts that are interesting. I'm thaddeus from india but working in UAE.

Ive recently purchased a toshiba satellite L300.

Specs : 2.4 Ghz, 3 GB RAM, 350 GB HDD
OS Win Vista Home Edition

I'm thinking whether to install Win XP SP2 Prof Edition / Windows Vista Professional Edition / Windows 7 over the new laptop.

If any of you have done this kindly let me know.

I think windows 7 should not be a problem as it is sort of upgrade. I had tough time installing XP on my Toshiba Lappy which can with Vista Home Premium.

But one thing, ensure that you have all the drivers of the target OS compatible with your laptop. I had to search a lot before i was able to find XP drivers for WLAN etc for my laptop.
