installing windows 7

hi....
i have an old desktop running windows xp currently....planning to upgrade to windows7
my config is core 2 duo and 2gb ram
firstly will it support secondly what do i do about the drivers,i do have a driver cd but it is for xp...

Yes it will support this machine specs. For drivers you can search for your specific motherboard or you can try using Driver Genius!!
 
motherboard model plz. Imo windows 7 will have most of the drivers inbuilt for motherboards prior to the release of win 7.....
 
No Problem your system can handle Windows7 :)

No need for drivers as Windows7 has all the necessary drivers if any drivers is missing you can download it from your specific vendors website :)

install it, and it will install the drivers instead. I have the same config as yours and my mobo drivers are not recognised in win7, and i didn't find any update for 7 online. but its running pretty fine without any of them.
 
This system will support windows 7, however for better performance of your system, i suggest that you look at the motherboard's manufacturers site and get the latest release of the BIOS and drivers.
