wanted to know if anyone here on the forums has installed xp x64 from usb pendrive. I have read various diff. methods of doing this out which some have worked, others dont & some of them are too complicated.

If anyone here has already has success installing xp x64.
was thinking of using nlite, but i am not sure if it will create the setup on a usb pendrive.

any help will be appreciated.

Rahul, I'm not sure of the x64 version, but I did try the 32bit version using WinToFlash on my netbook. It's a pretty easy process although there was a catch - once the installation was completed, I had to modify the boot.ini file (which you'd figure out once the installation goes thru!) and things went on smooth ever since then.

Once again, not sure if the 64bit works this way!

win2flash was not accepting the xp x64 iso or the folder when i was putting it in the xp path. it says incorrect source of windows files
