Intel adds Sandy Bridge-based Pentium CPUs - The Tech Report
Without fanfare yesterday, Intel updated its price list with four new processors featuring the Pentium name, three-digit model numbers, and prices under $100.

The chips aren't listed on Intel's ARK site yet, so the price list contains all the information publicly available right now:
Processor Cores Threads Clock speed Cache Price
Pentium G620T 2 2 2.2 GHz 3 MB $70
Pentium G620 2 2 2.6 GHz 3 MB $64
Pentium G840 2 2 2.8 GHz 3 MB $75
Pentium G850 2 2 2.9 GHz 3 MB $86

Good. So these(Gxxx+H61) will complete replace the current low end E5xxx PDC and G41 by end of the year (Remember that the Clarkdale never got a cheap PDC and mobo!)
Great bump in the IGP performance and ideal for HTPC users :)

Intel® Pentium® Processor G620T (3M Cache, 2.20 GHz)with SPEC Code(s)SR05T

Sadly lacks quick sync and HD CVD :(
Also the IGP just says Intel HD. So i think it is the one that was found in the i3 530! and not the latest HD2000/HD3000.

But still the IGP is sufficient for HD movies!

Intel® Pentium® Processor G620T (3M Cache, 2.20 GHz)with SPEC Code(s)SR05T

This one with the 35w TDP (Same as Core i3 mobile processor TDP!) should be even better for low power HTPC and DL rig!

Calrkdale did get a Pentium G9XXX processor. Not sure about the board though.

It was priced at $86 and then went above $90 and then out of stock. SB PDC starts @ $64. I said Clarkdale never got a cheap PDC and didnt say that it didnt get a PDC at all!

^ why "end of the year" ?
Intel's Roadmap! For completely replacing the E5xxx+G41 by G6xx+H61. Still the cheapest H61 is ~3.2k

Sorry for the misunderstanding.

Launched in India already?

Still no proper reviews online! Should be interesting how these match up to the Llano Dual Cores.

A4- 3350P and E2- 3250 have a speculated $80 and $70 pricing but has a beefy graphics with 160 stream cores (Same as HD6450 but clocked lower!) Super pricing considering the HD6450 costs ~3k in India and these would end up @3.5k-4k if we go by speculated prices!

SB Celerons too.
Three new 32nm Celerons in September
it sells for really modest $37 a piece. This money will buy you a single core Intel Celeron processor G440 with one core and one tread, and Intel is nice enough to offer you a whole 1MB of cache.
The second in line will offer you much more for only $5 more. The name is Celeron G530 and this is a 2.4GHz clocked dual core with two threads with a whole 2 MB of cache. It will sell for $42 once it launches in September.
The top of this new upgrade is Celeron G540, a $52 dual core with two threads and 2.5GHz core clock. This 2MB cache LGA1155 also comes in September
