Intel has introduced new Ivy Bridge CPUs for both desktop and mobile segments . The price of some existing CPUs has also been dropped along with the release of these new CPUs .

The newly introduced i5 CPUs include Core i5-3350P, i5-3330, i5-3334S and i5-3330S . These are clocked at 3.10GHz, 3.0GHz and 2.70 GHz, respectively, with corresponding price tags of $177, $182, $194 and $177 . The the chips ending with P are without integrated graphics . The chips come with Turbo boost but without Hyper Threading .

The new i3 CPUs include i3-3240, i3-3225, i3-3220, i3-3240T, i3-3220T models ranging from 2.8 to 3.4 GHz and priced between $117 to $138 . All these are dual core and the models ending with T are ultra low power models . The i3 CPUs lack turbo boost but have Hyper Threading ie 4 threads .

Apart from these , mobile Ivy Bridge chips have also been introduced . The i7 3940XM is the first chip which breaks 3GHz barrier .It is a extreme edition quad core CPU along with HT . There are two lower models as well - 3840QM clocked at 2.8GHz and 3740QM clocked at 2.7GHz .

read this Intel Adds 10 New Ivy Bridge, 10 New Sandy Bridge CPUs

On the Sandy Bridge side, the new models include:

- i3-3240T (2.90 GHz, low power, $138)
- i3-3220T (2.80 GHz, low power, $117)

These two processors are somewhat confusing, as their model number indicates they are part of the Ivy Bridge, line, but these two processors are currently listed as 32 nm parts.

There is a chance that Intel has simply made a mistake in its price list and we are waiting for an answer from Intel
Do you trust a PR snippet over Intel's own ARK database :P These parts are clearly listed as 22nm there. Intel isn't going to use their well known T suffix to indicate something like this anyway.

Edit:
Looks like Intel goofed up in their price list : http://www.intc.com/pricelist.cfm . It should be pretty clear that the T is only low power, and has nothing to do with sandy bridge from the fact that theres a G645/550 T and non-T both listed in the price list, both as 32nm Sandy bridge parts.

actually i read from some other site that these are sandy bridge and didnt check intel site :P

Crazy_Eddy is right...

Intel launches mid-class and budget desktop CPUs

New Pentiums are a mix of Sandy Bridge and Ivy Bridge SKUs. All of them are dual-core processors with 3 MB L3 cache. Pentium G2100T and G2120 Ivy Bridge chips supersede G870 and G860T, which are based on older microarchitecture. The CPUs even run at the same frequencies as their predecessors, so the only advantage they have is slightly better CPU performance, owing to microarchitecture improvements, and better graphics performance. Official prices of Pentium G2120 and G2100T are identical to G870 and G860T introduction prices, i.e. $86 and $75 respectively.

All third generation Core i3 products utilize Ivy Bridge microarchitecture. Like second-generation Core i3s, new chips have 2 cores with Hyper-Threading, and 3 MB L3 cache. Improvements on Core i3-3200 series includes more efficient microarchitecture, better graphics, and lower power consumption. Core i3-3220, i3-3225 and i3-3240 are mainstream CPUs with 55 Watt TDP. Core i3-3220T and i3-3240T are ULV processors, rated at 35 Watt. The fastest Core i3-3240 runs at 3.4 GHz, that is identical to Core i3-2130. All i3s employ HD 2500 graphics, with the exception of Core i3-3225, which comes with HD 4000 integrated GPU. Official prices of just released i3 processors range from $117 to $138.
