Where can I buy this motherboard + processor in Hyderabad. I tried asking in many shops in CTC but no one seems to be aware of this.
My dear friend for this question there is no answer because this board is rarely available in the market.

I can get you this board from Mumbai but you will have to wait as I have my exams and also will need to check from the retailer.

Zotac will be expensive for its features being crammed like Wifi and other stuff.

I saw the listing on ebay and the Intel board is priced too high for the features.

I was offered the GA-D510UD from gigabyte's dealer for Rs.4,700/- which has IDE and onboard raid support and hence I purchased it.

If you want to decode HD and play old games the nVidia 8400 or 9400GT PCI should do and that too at cheaper rates.

But in the end the choice is yours.:)

use Ebay global easy buy.

These cards are not available in Lamington road.

I have made a purchase for BFG 8400GS in ebay global easy buy.

Thanks for the response harish. Is the dealer price around 4700 like you said? If so, I can buy online as there is not much difference in online vs dealer price.
I basically want to use this for watching TV(using internal tuner) and downloading stuff parallelly. I might play some occational dvd ripped movies that are playable on my old p4 machine now. From your experience of using it, do you think this board+processor is enough for the needs I mentioned?

Can you post the config of your P4 machine?

If you look closely, I have a 2xP4 machines like you do.

As for Atom it will do your tasks without any problem but the price for Intel Mobo is too high on ebay.

I was able to acquire Gigabyte Mobo which has more features for Rs.4,700/- which is Bang for the Buck IMHO.

As far as I remember the Intel costed around Rs.3,500/- to 3,700/- only and hence not worth purchasing from ebay.

My p4 has 2.4GHz processor which I bought 5-6 years back. It has 1 GB of RAM and a 7200RPM 160GB hard disk (Added later). This is working fine for me as of now. As I am using it only for TV and movie watching, I want to reduce the cabinet size and power consumption by going to a mini-itx cabinet and atom processor. Atom D510+2GB of RAM is what I am planning to go for now. I will use my old hard drive as it is enough for the purpose.

As there is no urgency for upgrade may be I will wait till D510 arrives to the dealers in Hyderabad.

Dude for the Last part, that may never happen, because Most of the atom boards sold by other manufacturers are priced on the higher side.

This makes the consumer opt for a different solution over Atom. Unless you are hell bent on getting that board itself.

What are the alternate mobo-cpu combo for min-itx cabinet? If they are in the same price range and less power consuming I am open for them.
