CPU/Mobo Intel Confirms Quad-Core Chips in 2007

hope they (intel) sort out their current messy dual core architechture by the time quad core comes
 
Just 4 cores ?
Intel's already promised a 16 core processor by 2007 which would be known as Tanglewood.
