Intel core 2 duo (t3080) upgrade?

Hey all, Currently I am using t2080 core 2 duo processor in my compaq laptop.

Does anybody know about alternate CPU for replacement?
 
It would be expensive to upgrade laptop CPU's. That too urs would be out of warranty now. I would advice u to chuck it and get a new one :p
 
Probably possible but the problem is where to source from? In the US people buy newer processors off ebay for like 50 dollars and in that case its a pretty good upgrade for an old laptop
