Is there a review comparing these processors (AMD and new i3) Would be interesting to see how much the i3 is behind the AMD quads in programs like Photoshop, WinRar etc.

Its not behind its ahead except in the apps where core count matters a lot...

I had started a thread on a similar topic but with the 1156 i3s and for better or for worse,the dual core vs n core argument remains pretty much the same even after a year.
Conclusion,Amdahl's Law is a b**ch, deal with it.
