Hey guys i heard here only that there is going to be a cut off in intel procy prices on 20th of this month now few days back i checked
TheITWares - Processors (CPU Intel , AMD) this site and the price of e4500 was 4750 and i contacted to a local dealer here in delhi and he offered me the proccy for 4600 and today i saw the site the price listed was rs.5150 and then i contacted that same dealer he said he can give at 5k and he also added that there is going to be a price rise on intel C2D and C2Q.
I thought if i waited till the next month i could have saved some money but i guess it is going to cost more.

nha this is last minute tricks from local dealers to jack up prices and get more money . wait :D for this month end to get the sweet price again i guess

^^+ :ohyeah:

let the price update next year upto 8 k

then i can sell my e4500 for 5k buck

btw i guess if i wait on April 20 the price might fall ;)

on 22nd april, E4600 2.4ghz & E2180 2 ghz are coming to market for the same price, so stock is limited of old materials hence hike.

I think local Dealer makes CURTAIL and increasing price now and when Intel cut the price in actuals at that time all dealer will offer us very small reduction of actual reduction by intel.

For e.g

"Product A" cost price Rs.8/-, dealer selling it for Rs.10/- (25% margin-prior to price hike) and now they charge Rs.12/- for same (with 50% margin).

When "Product A" cost reduced to Rs.7/- (old cost Rs.8) than dealer will reduce Retail Price to Rs.10/- again and tell us that they make price cut, but in actual now they got 42.5% margin, compare to they get 25% prior to price cut.

PS: Above is just example, though I do believe that now H/w mkt. didn't run on so much HIGH Margin.
