Yes B3 do not have the gradual sata3? decay problem because Intel fixed it. Anyways if you do not mind a few round trips to local vendor, even earlier mobos would be easily RMA'd since Intel has paid Mobo manufacturers a substantial sum as per rumor, also only 5-10% at max are/were supposed to get affected in the next 3-5 Years.
