CPU/Mobo Intel Slashes Prices and Silently Launches New Models

i dont think so it should be 12.5 k as the x26000 which is 5 $ more is like for 11.5 on itwares will be below that mark only. and e6700 at 22000 still makes no sense .

Current Newegg prices : free shipping.

e4300 = 125 = rs 5,250 @42 ( itwares = rs 5,800, "expected" as of now )
e4400 = 145
e6320 = 173
e6300 = 174 !
e6400 = 196
e6420 = 197
e6600 = 235 = rs 9,870 @42 ( itwares = rs 11,000, "expected" as of now )
e6700 = 339 ( itwares = rs 16,000, "expected" as of now )

^ btw dollar is not 42. buy & sell rate is always different. so just dont go about blindly catching rs 42 for 1 dollor. it will be more like 44 after conversion etc.

also u forgot to add the tax that is charged in usa which usually varies from 5 - 10 or 12%. its 8% in most places

Yup, I was trying to show that the "expected" prices were pretty reasonable. Prices in retail stores will be even higher than Newegg.

i recently checked with hdfc...they buy for 41.94 but selling was 42.55.....today its ard 41.25...so i guess selling of dollar(we buy frm bank at 42 buks per dollar)

lolzzzzzz.....who is the owner...i guess during day time he lost in share market and increased the prices...after rbis credit policy market improved he covered up and prices bak to normalcy...lolzzz

btw in that old listing e6420 went missing......its bak now...lol

what i heard is that they haven't got the final pricing yet.

Ya I talked to the It ware guy and he told that he is pretty unsure about Core pricing .. So until and unless latest priced cores are available in the market they won't sell any other model except E6300 :S Damn when it will come in India I was ready to buy E6600 at 11k but not available:(

Damn...need to buy a E6600 desperately... dunno when the prices will be stabilized... BTW yesterday I went to lamington..and the guy (computer selection said he wasexpecting stock by today..)

Hey guys... planning to get a E6600.. Any ideat whats the performance difference betwen E6300/6320 or E6400/6420 or E6600.

I mean yes..it does affect the performance in gaming and graphicd rendering...but for a developer..will it make any difference?

Also any ideas whether my Powersafer 450w psu be able to support the E6600 on ASUS P5B with 7600GT ??
