CPU/Mobo Intel warranty ?

Well I wanted to know if intel provides international warranty ? What if I buy the sandy bridge processor from australia will I have warranty here in mumbai ? Please reply asap :X ..

As per my experience, yes Intel provides International Warranty BUT recently they have changed their policy and warranty is through distributors as well and through them you need Invoice etc.

Do not know whether you can still get a RMA number from Customer Care, but if you can, then all you need is numbers on the proccie and fan markings. So you would definitely need original fan, even if not the box to have warranty, remember that.

Yes it is OK but just on stock clocks.
