Hey guy

I found someone selling good quality aluminium heatsinks around 1x1.5cm along with fantastic quality 3M ceramic based .25mm double sided thermal tape.

Would you guys be interested?

I bought a few to test on my motherboard, which is without a VRM HS. They're quite good to be honest. I tested using an IR thermometer, and the bottom of HS, where it makes contact, is exactly the same temperature of the MOSFET (before installation). The top and sides were about 2-3 degrees cooler. I used a few on the ferrite chokes as well, which were touching ~70C on Linpack. I am quite happy about the performance and the whole exercise. Maybe I'll do a short write up on this exercise whenever I find some time.

I vaguely asked about pricing and it would come to about 550-600 for 10 units with the 3m tape. Let me know if you guys are interested.

Edit: Let me know if anyone is interested in just the 3M thermal tape as well. I should be able to source some at a decent price.

Can you showcase some individual pics both installed on mobo and without installation ones??

Here. I checked the dimensions properly - 20mm x 15mm x 12mm (LxWxH). Because of the decent size I am able to get a lot more surface area to dissipate heat. 3m tape is also very good with the heat transfer. You can see in the picture, how thin it really is.

Thinking about attaching more heatsinks, one to each existing heatsink on the top or the left, considering there is a lot of room available.

Forgot about the IR thermometer I used :D

Don't know about thermal tape, but what is special about these heat sinks? I have got a whole drawer full that look like these.

This is the first time I saw and used such heat sinks. These heat sinks along with thermal tape got me a little excited I suppose :)
Heatsinks are pretty much useless without a thermal conduit or interface. Let me know if anyone is interested in just the 3M thermal tape as well. I should be able to source some at a decent price.
