I keep getting mails from a few nutters each day..... Asking me to signup for certain sites & then get paid emails, pay per click offers & so on....

Today, I got a mail from one Rupeemail site that claims to send mails & credit us money just for opening the link in the mails. :S

Have also heard of many other survey sites, market research sites that pay one in USD ($) via PayPal. :jumpy:

I have never signed up for any except one ValuedOpinions site that I had signed up just for fun. But I got Accentiv Vouchers worth Rs.1,600/- from them for the surveys I had completed for them.

My query is to fellow TEians: Is all this Internet Earning hype ever true?? Do they really pay in $ for doing some survey from homes??

Please share ur experiences here... I would really like to know. :crash:

Thanks.

P.S.: I got the 1.6k in 4 installments of 0.4k each spread over 10-11 months. :P

I once was immersed in this topic. But time and again I only found it to be spam and bs :(

Maybe 1 outa 20 ends up a legit one

^^^ Hehehehe!!! That's a cool classification... :P

BTW, So, if it is anywhere else, like on website banners, discussion forums etc. it's NOT spam?? :P

I have seen people mention realistic amounts like 100-200 $ per month doing internet jobs & others mentioning 2000 $ per month (which is obviously bullsh*t!!)....

Only thing is I dunno how the realistic ones make that much either.... :P Hahahahahaha!!!

There are legit sites out there. No doubts. But my experience with the PTC sites is that most are unreliable. Now, you may get clients to do a job for as a freelancer and many may be legit but if you get any offers via emails then yeah, 99% will be from con artists :P

Stay away from any one who says I'm from Nigeria by the way. Sure to be a scam.

If you want money, open an online business or freelance online. There are websites like freelancer.com and rentacoder.com and established businesses over there earn thousands of dollars a month in profits (each established big business, that is).

First let me say i am not advertising :P

I am a member of a Indian survey conducting company named crosstab for last few years and they keep sending surveys in mail and as a gift they used to give a Movie DVD etc type things but off late they are giving points and each survey is ranging from 500 to 3000 points and each 1000 points means 100 rupees (if you redeem for ZIP Cash). I have filled many such surveys (they have eligibility criteria before you can go ahead with the survey) and till now earned and redeemed 13000 points for zip cash (1300 actual rupees)and spent all those on my mobile recharges :)

What exactly is the eligibility criteria ?

@ raksrules: Sharing ones experiences is not advertising dear.... Don't bother bout people who think one is advertising himself even if one just tells them one's name!!!

Even I have a similar experience with a site that I already mentioned in Post # 1

@ arjpillai: Actually, the criterion is like ur age group, ur gender, financial status, employment status etc. Sometimes, they have surveys for ladies products. So, I wouldn't be eligible of it. Or, they may have a survey about some products for the aged, then I would be debarred due to my age group. Things like that.

They don't expect u to be a Harvard Grad or something like that to consider u eligible....!!! :P

Survey:

Earning from survey is completely possible.I have been earning pretty good amount from surveys. Some pay via paypal, some pay via amazon uk vouchers.Although I have not beening doing it regularly being lazy but one of my cousin had earned around 1500GBP in amazon uk vouchers in 18 months.

For a start you can try

Crowdology Paypal Funds (Just give any uk address and you are good to go.Being doing it from many months.)

Toluna Indiatimes Voucher

My Amazon Uk Account after 4 months of doing surveys

Have got many great sites, will post them once I get time.

Paid to Click PTC

Although most of them are scam but if you want to try then get into Neobux.Earning from ptc requires proper planning and right strategies.

See its like you register on their website and put your interestes (simple check boxes)", better select all to get more surveys.

Then when you actually get a mail for participating in a survey, you are first asked questions like whats you city, age, what you do etc (no names etc are asked). Based on this they decide whether you can continue with the survey.

It works that way.

Hahahahaha!!!

Now we are getting the hang of it..... Come on peeps.... If u really are earning, spill the beans. :P

@ d@rK nEmEsIs: OMG :O I am gonna sign up for that site for sure.....!!! Lolzzz Care to share ur 'proper planning and right strategies' :P

@ Gaurish: How exactly did it work for u? Did it actually earn money for u??

I earn about $2k in profit/income each month from one such business.

cut to the chase, anyone who is doing it & earning a fair amount etc, no harm in giving tips, whats to lose anyways ??????
Exactly my point. Plus, if we consider referrals, one can actually make money by sharing their information alongwith signup links here.

The PPC sites pay about 0.01 $ per click IMHO.

:batman:

@ rite: What is 'one such business'? If u disclose it here, we won't bite u know!!! :P
