Internet for home use

I want to buy speedy broadband service for my home.

using frequency is light say around 1-2hrs / day. Intention is to aware kids & spouse on internet world.

I do have laptop as well desk PC P-IV at home.

Which plan & service provider will be best fit ? I want plug in surf adaptor.
Pl suggest.

how old are the kids?
depends on the age, generally internet tends to quite addicting, trust me 2 hrs passby before u even blink.
i would say go for 256 unlimited from airtel, its comes to around 800 per month.

well if you are gonna just surf and not download much then you can use hathway broadband Hathway : Get Connected. its prepaid with 1.0 mbps 1250/- (4GB for 4 months).

1. Only 2-3 hrs /day internet for kids/spouse : Want to avoid them from net addiction however also want to provide them chance to surf informative stuff...

2. If internet option with WLL phone connection available then that would be best fit for me.....as home mobile expenses per month around 300 rs. (light use..)

3.1 Internet budget :- max.300rs./month

3.2 Internet with WLL landline budget :- around 600rs./month (most desired..)

I would suggest to pickup a GPRS connection for your usage as you want to control the addiction as well. Activate the GPRS/Internet in you WLL phone, connect via it.

This way you'll get statement for the usage as well, through which you can keep an eye on usage. Also it might not be a costly affair, upgrade yourself to a dedicated one once your usage increases or kids grow up.

Don't go for unlimited plans if you ain't gonna download. Check out MTNL plans, go to your local MTNL and ask them for the plans.
