Internet on modem but not through the router

Hi, as the title says,

I m using railwire broadband, i changed the cable guy (who is giving railwire connection), but when the new connection arrives, internet is coming through the modem when directly connected to the laptop. But when connected through the wifi TP link router, internet connection is not available. May I know what the problem is?

is the cfg wall>modem>router? in that case, probably need to configure the router correctly.

The main router referred in the document is your modem and the access point is the TP-link router

Sometimes, small time internet provider bind your internet connection to the MAC ID of your PC. In such cases you might have to clone your MAC ID.
