Intex has launched their first quad core smartphone. Dubbed the Intex Aqua Wonder 2, this phone is powered by a Mediatek quad core SOC. The phone has great specifications for it's modest Rs. 10,000 price tag. But this handset has one small problem.
Intex Aqua Wonder 2
The Intex Aqua Wonder 2 packs a powerful specification chart, but the phone comes with an issue which cannot be easily overlooked. The Intex Aqua Wonder 2 packs 512 MB of RAM only, which is a simple disgrace to the quad core SOC it's been paired up with. We don't know what Intex was thinking but 512 MB is simply not enough anymore, and if they want to compete with the rest of the quad core crowd, they have to do something about this.
Intex Aqua Wonder 2 Specifications
Other than that, we see the Intex Aqua Wonder 2 as a cheaper version of the (beautiful) Lava Xolo Q800 smartphone. The Intex Aqua Wonder 2 will hit stores on 15th of April, for a price tag south of Rs. 10,000 making it (yet) an attractive proposition.
