Intex launches a new Android phone, Aqua 3.2 Dual Sim for Rs. 3,790

Intex has now launched another Dual Sim android device, and this one is running on Android 2.3, Gingerbread. This is a relatively low end device, aimed primarily at students who can't afford high end devices, priced at just Rs 3,790. Buying the phone, you'll also get a backpack free worth Rs. 700.



Talking about this product's launch, the Intex boss said “All our innovation is driven by strong end-user experience and demand for new gadgets. With our background as the fastest evolving mobile handset company in India since 2007, we have gathered all the required know-how of developing world class technology. This enabled us to bring to the domestic market a superior quality touch screen smartphone solution, both in terms of performance and cost. We are convinced that INTEX AQUA 3.2 will play an important role in bringing high performance touch enabled smartphone to the true mass market while contributing substantially to the market share of our mobile business.”

Talking about the specs of the phone, It is powered by a 1 GHz processor running at 1 GHz, and has a capacitive screen measuring 3.2 inches with a low resolution of 240 x 302 pixels. It is a relatively heavy phone also for it's specs, weighin in at 125 grams. Rear 2 mega pixel camera is included, along with a front vga cam. 512 MB RAM keeps the phone running, and there is an internal space of 75 MB for installing apps and games, which can further be upgraded upto 32 GB via a MicroSD. The battery in this device is rated at 1,200 mAh, and it is supposed to deliver a talk time of continuous 4 hours, and around 180 hours of standby.
