PC Peripherals Intex UPS Warranty query

My Intex UPS has conked off. Its probably went kaput due to a minor voltage fluctuation. I am sure its burnt, theres a whirring sound now and I get the burning smell.

Now the warranty terms state

"Warranty is not applicable on physical damaged, rusted, wet and burnt products. "

Does it mean no warranty if the UPS suffers internal burns due to voltage fluctuations. Aren't UPS warranties meant to cover such issues?

Wonder if they will entertain this claim. I hate to lug it all the way and then be told they wont accept the warranty claim.
 
they will repair it free of cost as the problem arose out of inefficiency of the ups. this happened to me thrice with intex. the third time this happened i went to my dealer and exchanged it for a apc ups and since then there hasn't been any prob. so i would advice you to switch to apc. however as to your query , yes they will repair the ups at no charge
