IOS 4 in 3GS

Guys I need to know iOS4 performance in 3GS. Is it good ? what all things won't work ?

Need honest answers, a friend of mine is buying it.

iOS 4 (4.3) is running smoothly in couple of my friends' iPhone 3GS phones. Everything works. Multi-tasking, Homescreen/Lockscreen wallpapers etc.
 
Full charge lasts a whole day without excessive 3G use. Usually somewhere around 30 hours. With heavy 3G use the battery drains drastically.

Running 4.3.1 without any glitches on my 3GS.

Used. It is of my another friend's. But it's like new only, hardly ever used. He bought it and went to abroad, without taking it. So it's just like new :)

okay guys, I checked the phone today. It's really fast and runs like hell !! Seriously, I wasn't expecting that kinda performance from a 3 old device. But one thing I noticed is, there is a small delay, to things appear. When I minimize and open back, it won't be there and loads. But it takes, like 10 mili seconds :bleh: Friend is very happy :)

Yep, 3GS is a good device. With extended support for iOS 5, it will surely get another year in it's life cycle. Support will probably be discontinued by the time iOS 6 arrives.
 
Actually I wasn't expecting such kind of experience from 3GS. TBH I was very shocked like :O

It has just 600 MHz procy and 256MB ram. The hardware utilization is so great in iOS !!! No Android device can perform like that with similar specs.

ha, even after two years this device makes wonders ! If I had known this earlier then I would have bought 3GS only instead of iP4. Seriously !
