iOS iOS 7 on iPhone 4 and 4S Seeking Feedback

In my home we have an iPhone 4 and 4S both on iOS 5.1.1. There might be one more iPhone coming and mostly it will be either 4 or 4S only and most probably it will come with 6.1.3 OS.
Now in sometime we will have to update these phones to iOS 7 mainly because of app compatibility and all.
Although now it is good that apple has made downloading older last compatible versions possible still many new apps are like iOS 7 only and such.
Moreover i have a strong expectation that we will see a jailbreak for the same sooner or later.
MuscleNerd tweeted that the latest iteration 7.0.2 is safe to update for people who intend to jailbreak 7.

So here i am seeking opinions and reviews from people who use iPhone 4 or 4S (specifically from 4 users) and have updated to the latest version of the OS. How is it performing vis-a-vis your older version (can be 6.x.x or 5.1.1). Does it make the phone slow or any major glitches you might have notices.
Keeping aside the interface and UI looks because they suck IMO and i hope that some awesome jailbreak theme comes which will make them look like iOS 6 later.

Dont mean to hijack the thread but me too looking forward to upgrading to ios7(currently on 6.1.4) on my iphone5.... any reviews will be appreciated...
 
Here's mine -
iPad mini --> Looks/Feels awesome. No Issues so far, fresher UI, some cool color changes in Safari. Love the changes made to photo app.
iPhone 4S --> Phone has slowed down a bit specially while navigating through the settings app. But nothing to complain about. Like the camera interface and options. Podacst app hung the OS, had to redownload it from app store.
Colleague's iPhone 4 --> iOS 7 was very slow on this. The difference between 4 and 4S is extremely noticeable on iOS 7. I woudn't recommend this update.

My colleague mentioned that iOS7 works fine on his iphone4 and he even felt the battery life got little better than ios6...

There are lot of mixed opinions about iOS 7 on iPhone 4. Some people have slow UI and such (not lag) while many report it to be smooth.
 
Just read on GSMARENA battery drain problem, and oh apple again has a screw up of its map, looks like a repeated fiasco, nokia took no time in tweeting it and poking fun at it!
 
As a company thats been bought by another, they've got no right to poke fun on anyone!

Quixand is right. Installed ios7 beta 6 on my brother-in-laws ipad 4. Works like a charm .
Installed on iphone 4 and it became real slow/battery back up was reduced too.
iphone 5 responds well to the ios7.
 
I have installed ios 7 on one iphone 4, it doesnt feel as snappy as iphone 5 but i won't say its slow or anything. There minor lag while opening settings/application etc but its totally usable.

EDIT: it wasnt a fresh install also, just OTA update.

I updated via itunes i.e first downloading the ios from apple and then running it through the device.
