Hi, one question here,

I clicked & bought "Shift 2 Unleashed" via iTunes App Store via Mac....later when I looked at, it is for iphone app, where I need it for my upcoming Ipad - (Ordering soon next week).

My question can I install it on Ipad ? Anyone got any idea ?

Here the below pic shows iphone apps - Downloaded. If I clicked Ipad it asked me "Buy"

Actually screwed myself with another app too, which is Iron Man 2...So I'm total loss of 110/-. :(

Anyhow never received the "Email Receipt" though....
 
Contacting iTunes support is the BEST option.
All sales are FINAL but still they may help you in Transferring it to iPad.
Do it ASAP, mostly within 24hrs. Also tell them that you haven't installed that app on any iDevice

I contact itunes support around 6 pm after reading your post, now when i open my inbox there is a response waiting for me which is below

I received 2 reply as I report twice for "Report a problem"...

Now do I reply and above msg and asked them to convert it for Ipad version as well as I'm not installed any device.... just what you said...

Request them to convert it into iPad version if possible or just give REFUND.
Mention the point that you have not installed it on any iDevice and the purchase was done by accident [Might be a IMP point to carry out refund]

You should have added it in "Comment" while reporting the problem.
 
Here is what I wrote via report a problem and I got the reply which I quoted in my previous post

"I accidently bought this application as the iphone version using itunes in my mac, where I actually need this app for my Ipad…I did it by mistake as I'm new to IOS appstore/Itunes appstore…. Can you please issue a refund ?"

I love to send back reply to Mark (itunes Store customer suport), but....now I doubt if I told them that I didn't installed any iDevice (this is true as I don't have any iDevice) which may rise their suspicion...as well told them to convert Ipad version......that I may try to con them and want to get both version in price of one.

Wish......I mention the "Possible to convert about Ipad version" during Report a Problem comment box.

This is complete dilemma...I'm sinking in it.

In the comment box I wrote the QUOTE part in the post number #15 around 6 P.M

Most probably one and half hour later I got written reply customer support person named Mark via Email which I wrote in QUOTE part of the post number #13 .

Thats all....no other communication made...

I'm hanging there...

Once again thank you very much n1tesh for pointing out me to the right direction and help me short-out my problem.....

Today I got the mail which I'm eagerly waiting, accompanied 2 automated response which I believe transferring the followup case to Itunes India Customer support from other country or whatever. This time the case handler name Mahesh, earlier it was Mark.

I understand that the applications "SHIFT 2 Unleashed" and "Iron Man 2" were accidentally purchased and you would like to have a refund for it. I certainly imagine your eagerness to resolve this and I will be more than happy to look into this for you.

MYNAME, after reviewing the circumstances of your case, we determined that issuing you a refund for your unintentional purchase of "SHIFT 2 Unleashed" and "Iron Man 2" is an appropriate exception to the App Store Terms and Conditions, which state that all sales are final. In five to seven business days, a credit of 110 INR should be posted to the credit card that appears on the receipt for that purchase.

The iTunes Store provides a warning message that asks if you are sure that you want to buy an item. This warning can be turned off. If you would like to make sure that this warning is on, you can reset the warnings in the iTunes Store by following the instructions in this article:
