What changes is the components, which will be simplified to give the device a simpler manufacturing design. There will be a modification in the number of LED lights being used. According to sources, the new iPad 4 will use two-chip packages for the LED back light units or BLUs (the current generation new iPad packs a one-chip package). The current iPad has 84 LED units, which will be reduced in the iPad 4.
