Is it 3G or 3GS?

Because if your friend is expecting 23k for a used 3g- 8gb than i am sure you wont get it.

My friend took 3GS- 16gb new for 24k

Revise your price for quick sale bro.

and if its 3g then 23k is way too high coz on TE there are iphone 3g sold for 13k-15k depending on the condition... So please confirm... :)

Ready with Cash..

Used 3G is around 13000 to 14000 Max..

One sold on TE for 11000 last week.. Think & Please PM me revised price. I am interested.

ur price is a bit high but since it has india warranty u can charge a premium .. u should definitely not sell this below 16k like others are telling u to .

but at the same time 23k is very high as the price for a new voda locked 8gb 3g is 25000. i was planning to buy the voda locked one a few days ago so i can confirm that the price is def 25k for a new one at alfa mumbai

So what did he decide guys? I am nearing my pay day and was thinking of getting an iPhone again.. may be this one.. what say OP?

Frankly speaking TE is not the right place to sell an Authentic iPhone with official bill & warranty at all.

I too own a iPhone 3G Purchased from Airtel in March 2010 for a price of Rs. 28,500 . When i wanted to sell it there were many comments of reducing the price to 15k,16k,18k . But truth be told people who want to pay that kind of price for a genuine product need to get a reality check. After all the OP is selling an original phone with bill and warranty that he purchased from the correct channel for 28k+ not some used grey market phone for 18k ! I am glad that i didn't sell my phone for that low a price, on 11th of Nov i got my perfectly working iPhone replaced from Apple (on the pretext of a hard Home button, which it wasn't BTW) for a brand new piece that too free of charge (that's what a real bill gets you). And didn't it feel good to hold a brand new piece after 8 months of using the first one. I also have another iPhone 3G which too shall be changed in the 11th month of its warranty.

Dear OP, do not sell your phone for a penny less than 20-23k as the people who are coaxing you to sell your phone are opportunists who are comparing your phone with iPhones which are 2 Years old & have non working buttons and severe cracks on their body. Trust me 90% of people would actually take this phone with bill & would get a shiny new piece replaced from Apple for themselves and make a grand killing on the low price that they would pay you.

To the people who think that they can get an iPhone for 13K-14K, do remember those are iPhones which are 1-2 years old with weak or non existent battery lives. Also they more often than not have hard/non working buttons & cracks on the body panel.

Best of luck for the sale :cool2:

Then this is definitely your presumption. I've seen otherwise. Agreed, the iPhone with b&w definitely warrants a higher price but given the warranty for this phone nearing the expiry (barely 3 months left?), I'd suggest Spacey's friend to do a price check. Not sure if shelling out close to 4~5k more makes sense here. I've been using one sourced from abroad, have maintained it well (if not exceedingly well since the phone has survived few falls with the Capdase cover albeit no damages!) and the phone has not had any issues by far. *touchwood*

Spacey apologies for the OT. I know you are just being the middle man here but I guess this phone will have a hard time being sold at the price you have posted. You may as well post the sale on eBay. Just a suggestion. :)

Ur absolutely wrong on some things uve said . He will never be able to sell this phone for even 20 k .even u weren't able to sell urs.only a person with absolutely no knowledge of an iphone price will buy this for 20000 and above . I agree with u though that some people are coaxing him to sell at lower price but the fact is the phone resale price should be between 16-18k . I dont think Anybody will buy this and break it and claim warranty on it and try to get a new phone . It's not easy to get a new phone from airtel . They do a lot of background checks before the decide to give a new phone

. + any new phone given by any mobile company is actually a refurbished one and never a brand new so y would someone break this and try to get a replacement and get a refurbished phone . Airtel will never tell u but world over most companies replace phones with refurbished ones packed like new phones .

Yes he should NOT sell this for 13000-14k cause that price is for very old phones. His phone Is fairly new and with warranty but if a new one now costs 25000 then 23000 is a very very high price

.it's not just on te u can also try putting ur phone on any site but u will not get 23000 for a 8gb 3G .it does not matter what price a person gets the phone at what matters is what the current price of a new one is .forget a 3G our own te member rampage is offering a new 8gb3GS for 26000approx in his iphone 4thread .

@ spacescreamer : Can u post a photo of the actual bill . a friend would be interested in this .

^^^ I agree with with Khanvis and Gannu..

OP i am sure you wont get any buyers on TE atleast who will pay 23k for a used Iphone 3g -8gb

As Gannu said try it on Ebay but it will be very difficult to sell it for more than 20k]

I think the decent price for this peice is 16-17k

:D

Thank you all for the participation guys. That was needed.

For a non tech savy person this discussion was needed for lowering of the price. I enjoyed his situation a bit tho :P

Revised price 17k incl shipping.
