iPhone 3G issue.

I just bought an Iphone 3G ... I tried to format the phone ... and it did not start again ... it only shows the apple sign ... i dont know why this is happening ... i tried to restore it by itunes and downloaded the firmware also .. it says it doesnt support that ... plzz help me ... i am not able to use the phone from day 1 ...

lust use the latest itunes and do not download the firmware by your self let the itunes do it for u once itunes done its job then move to unlocking because there may be some hardware problem in your phone if the problem still there then pm me i will try my best to help u

hey thanks .. im done with my restoring ... now comes the apps part .. im trying to install some apps but they just dont happen .. whenever i try to do it by itunes it says it cant connect to itunes ..
