Iphone 3gs problem: Insert A Valid SIM with No Pin Lock

I got a used 3gs 16 gb on saunday. Since it was having useless contents i decided to erase all contents and settings. I did that but my phone got stuck at apple logo during bootup. So i plugged it into itunes and updated to 4.2.1 fw. Now i think its locked. How to solve this . pls help:huh::huh:

Please note this line -

It cant be unlocked yet without upgrading to iPad Baseband.

hey Doc phoenix, i am gr8. How are you?

well i actually kind of messed up:

i updated my iphone 3gs to 4.2.1 and i used redsnow to jailbreak it and click the ipad baseband to unlock my phone. when i rebooted it turned to recovery loop, it was my fault then i connect it to itunes and restore it to 4.2.1 and it has error 1015 ... i dont have my shsh on my 4.1 so i cant downgrade it to 4.1 and my basesband is 6.15 already. Now its stuck to Connect to itunes error

problem solved. JB and unlocked on 4.2.1 Bb 6.15

Good for you. IIRC it takes multiple boots into DFU mode to finally get the jailbreak working.
