While the iPhone 5 is already selling like hot cakes in grey market, It is expected to launch officially on 2nd November in India. Airtel is taking pre-orders for the 16GB version for Rs 45,500 and has listed the availability date as Nov 2, it can be pre-ordered from here. The iPhone 5 is also available for pre-order on Saholic and Infibeam.
Redington which is one of the two Apple distibutors inIndiarevealed previously that the price will be Rs 45,500 for the 16GB version, the 32GB version will cost Rs 52,500 and the 64GB version will cost Rs 59,500 .
