iOS iPhone 8 forgot passcode

Soooo I have a problem at hand...my aunt forgot the passcode of her old handset an old iPhone 8.

What options do I have? To help her get back access to the phone?

I have used Android my entire life and I don't have the slightest clue of how iphones and the iOS system works.
