Sorry for the comment... cause I might have to bring in what Android is capable of too... and then we would have outright war :P

Yes :bleh: :bleh:

Check it again... may be put your brain (if that pied piper has left any) to work... it should work without any additional software/warez, then get back here and answer.

Oh well then you do know that I can install apps using apt-get via Terminal from my iPhone ? Or I can use my iPhone as a web-server ? Or as a development platform for python or java ? or for Ruby on Rails ? You do know right ?

Yeah it certainly doe's all that, but then again. :P

No copy-paste
No bluetooth file-transfer
No A2DP
No MMS AFAIK
No Video Recording

I don't care much about the last 3, and even the lack of blue tooth file transfer is just a severe in-convenience, but not having copy paste out of the box in a 30k worth PDA phone is sheer blasphemy. Lets just hope that apple fixes these issues in the next iteration of iPhone and not just release another half baked phone.

Maybe you need a brain check-up yourself. Please enlighten me where in your original question you had mentioned "without software"! And "Free" means "Free", not "Warez"!

Can it forward SMS for free?

And you seem to be seriously offended by my reply (regarding all the stuff iPhone can do) and your frustration is clearly visible in your reply ;)

No phone is worth 30k if you ask me. However, my iPhone (bought for around 17k) is more than worth the money I have spent on it :)

Can you please post which free app can forward sms? Don't wanna use warez if I can avoid it.

Right now, you have to use Clippy! Its not the best option I know..BiteSMS was made paid just recently(last week IIRC)! I am sure in a few days, we will get a free app for it.

Oh and yes, you can always use the old version of BiteSMS which was free !

Mr. LT dude, different ppl look for different things. Some genuinely like the iPhone and are ready to overlook some deficiencies which might seem necessary to you.

For example, my wife has had the iPhone since before the 3G was launched and she wants the sms forward only just now. Video recording on a phone is over rated for the average person. She loves the phone and who am I to deny her that? Of course, I swear by my P1i which she finds clunky, so chill. It's just a phone.

Another point to consider is all other cell-phone makers are not stumbling over themselves to make the so called "iphone-killer" for nothing (and achieving little success at that). It truly is a revolutionary device and of-course it has its defects, but is thoroughly a joy for both the average user and the geek alike.

Revolutionary is a far extreme word used here. Nothing revolutionary here, yep Apple is the first one to introduce touch-motion based UI but wont call that revolutionary. Rest of part agreed, thats the thing I wished to glare into the eyes of those fanboys.

Peace. Had fun here guys.
