Iphone deals - are they good

My friend is getting a deal on
Iphone 2G 16GB @ 13000
Iphone 3GB 8GB @ 22500 (warranty Till April 2010)

He doesnt have info on the jailbroken status etc

Please suggest, if the deal are good and he can take one of these
Which is a better deal among the two
 
Brand new Samsung B7610 or HTC Hero for 22k-23k is much much better deal than iphone 3G that has only 2 mnth warranty left.

iphone 2g, well just ignore it.

my suggestion for you would be to go for HTC Hero or look for iphone 3GS
 
I guess iphone 2G will be a good buy at 12k..Trust me, I don't find any use for GPS and 3G in chennai. Moreover 8GB would fillup very fast, 16GB is recommended. Don't worry, jailbreaking is a breeze with blackra1n.

those are very lucky prices- must be used and jailbroken/hacked pieces

for NON- jailbroken and FACTORY UNLOCKED 3GS the best price I have is 38k for iphone 3gs black 16gb BRAND NEW
 
the price for iphone 3g should be around 22000 bcoz its a legit one and warranty is there too.... after April 2010, you can call up Airtel/Voda CC and get it unlocked....

new one costs : 28.5k locked.... with warranty...
