iPhone Help/suggestions pls !!!

Hello guys,

i got a iPhone 3G which is Airtel locked with Firmware 3.0.

my question is, will i void warranty if i unlock my Airtel locked phone ?

assuming that i have unlocked my airtel locked phone and suddenly something terribly goes wrong with the phone, cant i restore it back to the 3.0 FW and claim warranty.:huh:

yes u can unlock n jailbreak it , if theer are any issues ,restore the original fw and submit , had a friend who just did that and there have been no issues.

p.s. for the record jailbreaking it will void the warranty but u can always goback to the og firmware unless thers an issue with with ur iphone hardware anyways in most cases ud get a new phone as the dum dums in india cant repair shyt

Jailbreak is quite simple. In case you wanna get some warranty get the old firmware back. Its quite simple.

if u need any help in unlocking the 3g go to

blog.iphone-dev.org

and download ultrasn0w to jailbreak and unlock ur iphone.
If you feel the need to claim warranty, simply restore the original firmware using itunes.

Jailbreaking and unlocking can always be restored via itunes firmware update/restore..and you get your warranty back..

One note ..some people faced problems doing this on windows 7 and with antivirus on..
