Iphone not switching on

Hi everyone

Today while using my Iphone got off automatically. After that i have been trying to on it but its not getting on. I have tried with pressing power and home button simultaneously no use. When i put it in PC it just don't do any thing. But when i put in charger it gets Apple logo and after 15-20 sec it fades away and nothing happens. Any idea whats going on. Please help. :no:

your iphone isnt getting turned on? i recommend some more foreplay. maybe the multitouch ui needs a little extra touching. lol.. sorry couldnt resist.

could be the battery. is it a legit iphone?
 
yeah I think its the case of deep discharge.Happened with my iphone once.Keep the iphone connected to the charger via wall socket for upto 15 hours and then try.
 
Happened to mine once but it started when I got home and connected it to the charger.

I'm facing another issue where the phone just goes off on its own, but I've realised it happens when it gets a little jerk while putting it down on the table or something, weird problem.
 
Thanks for your inputs, actually its not going in DFU mode. As you are saying it can be deep discharge case i am putting it in charger for some hrs, lets see will it solve the problem or not? Though its battery has become weak now a days.
 
^ did u just upgrade the iphone firmware or install some appz on it? Maybe it cud be that its causing the resorces to drain out pretty fast or something .. If the phone switched back on restore it
 
^^ Yes there are many software's right now on Iphone. I agree they are making it slow as well as responsible for battery draining. I will do the restore once it gets on. One more thing is here when i plug in PC nothing happens but when i plug the charger it gets display as a Apple logo for some sec and goes off again.
 
Find someone who has one of the FireWire chargers, or connect to PC's Firewire port. Should fix it right up. If you are in Mumbai, I could help you out.
 
Thanks Nitant, but I am in New Delhi. i"ll try to find some here. Suppose if it does not get turn on than where i can take it to get repaired in New Delhi.
 
If the long recharge doesnt help, take it to the service center... probably just requires a new battery
