The cut version spoils easily. That is why the premium. Pricing also highly depends on time and remaining stock, rate of sales etc. for eg. costly in morning rush hour, usually cheap in late evenings

There is also a total round version of this which is very easy to consume but also spoils much easier... so costlier

Never saw less than 80 rs in delhi. You're from chennai, this explains the huge price gap. But I really love in the morning specially when temp. hit 42 degree.
