iPhone Ringtones - How to?

I want to add my custom ringtones to my iphone, i would like to know the best way for it

You can directly add ringtones to your iPhone by first converting the mp3 file to AAC in iTunes. There change the file's extension from 'm4a' to 'm4r' and re-import the file into itunes by dragging and dropping. Now the file will show under ringtones and you can add it to your phone.

If that's all too tedious then use 'sendsong' which is available from installer in the iPhone, or iNdependence if you own a mac.
