^ correction, iphone does have bluetooth.

i dont know about the iphone software. but mostly there will be an option to save contacts as vcard. then import those to omnia using samsungs software.

i think you can also export contacts to windows adress or outlook and then import to omnia.

EDIT: Just realized iphone doesnt have bluetooth

Just to be nitpicky... it has bluetooth, but it's useless besides headset function. Can't do any kind of data transfer on the same.

I guess you're mostly limited to using a PC to back-up all your contacts and then transfer to Omnia.

best way is to use Remote Sync. I am using ZYB. ZYB Keeps you in sync with your friends

1.Download Synthesis SyncML(free) from Appstore.

2. Go into the settings / Server and set the following:

URL : ZYB Sync Server

SyncML Version : SyncML 1.1

Ignore SSL errors : Off

Use your zyb username and password. if you don't have an account. create one.

3. Go into settings / Contacts and set the following:

Sync mode: Normal sync

Server path : ./contacts

4. SYNC !

Now all your contacts and calenders are SYNCed to ZYB server.

Omnia has SYNCML client. Go to the server settings and use above settings. you will have now your iPhone contacts on your Omnia.

Yey, i finally got iTunes to sync the contacts with Windows Contacts and from there, used Windows Mobile Device Center(had to download an updated version).

but now, there is another prob: the Omnia shows the contacts in the "LastName, Firstname" format ...for eg; if its "The RedBull" in iPhone, Omnia shows it as "RedBull The" and sorts the name accordingly.Anyway to remedy this?

@Switch:Got both re....I can see ur point CLEARLY if it was abt getting Omnia after selling iPhone :)

there might be some settings in contacts for viewing mode. like in my n73, when we go to contacts>>settings there is an option for 'name viewing'. i can set first name or last name to appear first.
