iPhone trouble.

I had unlocked 1.1.1 and 1.1.2 for many times...

I just ordered 1.1.3 one fro NY, US.. I never unlocked it.. I didn't received it yet. But i think, it will have Firmware 1.1.3 with BL4.6

I have researched in many leading iphone forums that there are many many unlocking methods of it.. but every method have some bugs in it..

If anyone has unlocked the same.. please tell me which tutorial to prefer... Mostly Hackingt0sh and Modmyifone servers are toooo busy these days ( :huh: :huh:

I have been reading over at ziphone and command line seems to be the preferred way. Its pretty straight forward. From what I have read so far with Ziphone you DON'T need appsupport modified or iworld or anysim as iclarfied guide continues to say. The only thing is whether you want to downgrade bootloader from 4.6 to 3.9. I would keep it at 4.6. There are lots of threads discussing this at hackint0sh.org.

Most people seem to have been successful, a few however are complaining about lots of issues, apple logo hang, wifi not working, no audio, caller id issues, youtube not working etc. I think these exceptions include people who have old phones unlocked before or newbies who are not doing it right.

which Zipphone are you using i used the zipphone from this site Zibri's Blog and clicked on the Zipphone GUI and everything worked fine

I tried two ZiPhone with the first on had some trouble check my post here http://www.techenclave.com/mobile-phones/upgrading-unlocked-iphone-1-0-2-a-105838-2.htmli don't know which version it was but the Zibri's Blog one is ZiPhone 2.2 which worked for me just connect and run the program click what you what to do and everything is done by the program

Use the latest available on his blog, 2.2. 2.1 had a bug with his Z logo so that's totally not recommended.

Hi can you tell how to remove the Z logo and does the springboard crash

Press the Z Logo for a couple of seconds until all the icons start vibrating. You'll see a small cross next to the Z logo tap it to delete.

About the time, a couple of minutes. The app says 2' 30.
