What to pick a brand new iphone for 21K vs a brand new tube for 21K...

iPhone unlocked and ready to use same with Nokia...

I have used a iPhone 2G in person and have really liked it. So is the tube comparable to the iphone. I am a bit skeptical about the Tube's thickness and plasticy built :P

How is that even a question?:bangin:

iPhone undoubtedly, should be your choice.:ohyeah:

The Tube just doesn't cut it. There is no device that will ever be able to compete with the iPhone in terms of awesomeness and capability.

Why? because that's is how it is with all Apple products. The iPod, the iMac and the others are all the benchmarks in the industry.

iPhone has overturned the mobile industry same as the iPod did with the mobile player industry. Apple will never settle for a second best design and performance.

iPhone for the great tried and tested touch interface and the number of nice apps available for it by now :) + the ipod interface etc etc.

+ the flaunt value to match :P

Even my choice would be iPhone, but we will get back to it later.
"Apple will never settle for a second best design and performance"? .

Correct me if i am wrong, but when MBA launched, the general consensus was that they sacrificed on performance for the design. The same goes for iPhone. A 2MP cam without a flash simply does not make the cut.
Coming back to the choice, if you do not expect your phone to record videos or take good pics, then you should really for for iPhone. Flaunt value aside, some of the apps are real good. And it being such a huge platform, all the companies and developers will simply not leave it out of their portfolio.

I reckon its iPhone 2G that he is talking about, not 3G. In any case, I would buy an iPhone without second thoughts.

If you want Better Camera... go buy a digital camera, no phone cam can beat that. :P

If you want better phone + internet + entertainment device experience... iPhone all the way.

I dont know about you people i buy most things hands on, if i were you id just hold both the phones in my hand and play around and buy whichever i liked that moment

End of Decision , 2 heck with features.

P.S- this is just incase of buying mobiles tho :P

^^ebay and live.com??? :P

I am still reluctant to buy any Apple products after enduring MB headache few months back. And I would still rate the Tube over iPhone. Its a better phone, and after playing with it for a while, I am even made to reconsider my i8510 purchase plans from singapore. iPhone current users or wanna be will always recommend iPhone, and they will always be able to turn back on the drawbacks or should I say negatives of that phone.

err, what headaches?

I had a very minor issue with a MB bought in the US ..discovered the issue after coming back ...

the issue was so minor that an acer or HP would have not even acknowledged it an issue

apple India support said they would get it fixed, i asked for a replacement instead of repairs since it was just a couple of weeks old

even though their standard procedure is to cover international claims via warranty coverage, they did a quick escalation to their cust relationship dept

and got me a replacement

anyway, that was totally ot

at the risk of sounding repetitive, the iphone does 95% of what you'd expect a smartphone to do so well that most users are willinng to ignore the remaining 5 %

with my short attention span and compulsive lust for gizmos, my love affair with a new toy usually lasts anywhere between a few days to few weeks at best

It's been arnd 1.5 yrs since i got an iphone and i can't remember a single gadget that i have loved for so long..

PS: don't expect the iphone to be a business phone, you are better off with a E71 or BB if you need a biz phone

PS2: switchyboy, tread cautiously...if you end up buying the iphone, make sure you do it in person
