Ipod Battery Replacement

Seems like my 4 year old Ipod Classic battery is going down i tried charging with different cables it charges for 2-3 minutes then again it stops charging most probably the battery has given are there any battery replacement for ipod , the replacement offered by apple is ultra expensive

Did you check dealextreme? They stock spares for most stuff like these which are otherwise expensive. Offers free shipping from their HK store as well. No duties are charged for small items.

You can DIY pretty easily. ifixit might have some tear down manuals.
