Ipod classic..data transfer problem

Hey i m tryin to get a dvd image onto my frnds ipod..(since my dvd drive aint workin)..but it says size too big or not enuf disk space or sm sh1t lik that..
but wen we drag the whole instaled folder of d game ..which is 8 gb..ther is no error..
y so n how can v figure a way around this...?

The ipod will be formatted in FAT and you can't put in files with a size larger than 4gb.

Use a software like Hjsplit/winrar to break it up into smaller pieces and transfer it.
 
nope..dont think u can..u might just end up screwin up the music playin part :P so just split n be happy. :D else google first before u take any chances ;)
 
U will might brick the ipod, i'll suggest you do the same as techie said split the file...............
