Ipod nano latest prices?

Planning to buy one so pls let me know abt the latest prices of the ipod nano both the retail and grey market prices.Yet to decide on the capacity,2GB,4GB or the 8GB.Will it matter if i go for the grey market version if the price diff is considerable?Pls reply ASAP....
 
i guess u need the ipod nano 3rd generation with video ??..and the nano 3g comes only in 4gb and 8 gb variannts...

the prcing should be something like this ....

nano 3g 8GB :official around 8k.

grey around 7k

nano 3g 4GB :official no idea

grey around 6k
 
@faheem...ur nano was sealed, rite? did u have any issues with it? since u bought it off indiaplaza? m a lil apprehensive about buying from thr, but might have to resort to it.

yeah it was completely sealed and everything...only problem was i didnt get any bill..so i am not sure about warranty...but when i checked on apple US site it even shows my ipod under warranty..

and yeah its working perfectly..

but instead of buying online i suggest you to go the local market and get a grey piece..4gb should be around 6-6.5 and 9gb around 7.8 k...:)
 
There's no such thing as a "grey market" iPod. All of them have global warranties , linked to their serial numbers.
 
a friend of mine got 1 4gb nano from Landmark 2 weeks ago for Rs.9k :rofl: :rofl:

JJ Mehta as far as i know is a good and reputed dealer..u can buy from da shop.

and the reason india plaza doesnt give u a choice to select your colour is because the i pod nano 3rd gen. 4gb one comes only in silver colour and no other colours..

the different colours are only in 8gb one.
 
^^i did order for the 8gb one..but still no option to choose the colour. guess will go ahead with jj itself. do ya hafta bargain there?

Apple's website states that to avail warranty, the customer may be asked to present the purchase receipt (at least it did the last time i checked my ipod's warranty status).
Although i personally have no experience with apple repair service but that may be a problem for grey market ipods that retail sans the bill.
 
not really. i called up the apple service centre in pune, told them i had brought in a new ipod from the US. Told them i had 'left' the bill behind and asked if my warranty would still be valid.

They said yes :ohyeah:
 
^^ good to know that....by the way I wonder why people pay 8000 for 4GB nanos when Microsoft zune (30GB) is retailing for 8.5K online at indiaplaza....I wonder what the street price would be... so if anyone does, please let me know that.
