ipod nano screen replacement ?

Where in Mumbai ( Bandra / Andheri / Colaba ) can I have an IPod nano screen replaced ? The current one has gone kaput because of some crazy reason......giving it back to apple would be a total ripoff....I know there is a Apple Service center in Bandra ( Turner Road) , havent even called them to get a quote or even ask them cause it will be damm expensive.....so what means / ways can i use...? Please suggest some good place where it can be replaced and it can be easy on the pocket at the same time :)
 
dude. call up 9892574886. he is the only once in south mumbai who repairs specialization in ipod repairs... enjoy ur screen replacement :)
 
by the way is their any other apple service centre in mumbai ..specially navi mumbai ?

also do they replace\repair ipod only for battery problems..mine is just 5-6 months old and isnt holding a charge of more than 12-13 hrs while it is supposed to last 20-24 hrs and some times even the click wheel behaves weired.

also does any one know what procedure to the apple service centre people follow for RMA and how much time do they take ?

Apple RMA is the best AFK. Their service center in the suburbs is in bandra somewhere, and they replace the stuff in MAX 2-3 days. And there is nothing like repair, they only replace stuff :ohyeah:
 
but will they replace it just because of the battery complain

t..i mean do they really test the piece and all ?

also do they ask for a bill ..cause i had bought it from indiaplaza..and no bill was provided ...but it shows warranty upto december 2008 on apple's website after entering the serial number.

if possible please post the address of the authorized service centre .

Alfa@Irla-Bandra do ipod repairs. My friend got his 1G nano screen replaced. (This was a couple of years back, donm't know if they still do it.)
