2k I dont think you will get anything decent. Transcend 4gb player is for 3k odd along with Ep 630 earphones (850 bucks) should be a good combination...
 
You can go for 1 GB version of Transcend T.Sonic 610! Available for 1.9k and includes decent earphones.Thats the best you can buy in this budget !!

I guess you are talking about some generic taiwanese/chinese mp3 player with "digital " printed on it....

Stick to Transcend, skip the "digital" one

I think he meant the disc-man like players where you have to put CDs of mp3...i.e ones without flash memory!!

Yes dude,but maybe a newbie would differentiate between a CD-based and a flash-based player by using terms like Analog / Digital! That statement was directed towards the person who opened the thread!
